Hi! My name is Dipasha and I’m currently a final year Pharmacology student at Queen Mary University of London, with a strong interest in academic research and medicine. Outside of my studies, I enjoy playing tennis and badminton. I also love to explore different places in London and listen to music! I really enjoy teaching, and I look forward to supporting students to reach their goals :) I am currently in my final year studying BSc Pharmacology and Innovative Therapeutics at Queen Mary University of London, where I am about to graduate with a first class degree. Prior to this, I completed my A-levels, where I built a strong academic foundation in science and developed effective study and exam techniques. I also performed very well at GCSE level, which reflects my academic ability and strong understanding of core subjects. Alongside my studies, I have gained experience supporting other students with their learning, helping to break down complex topics and build confidence, which has strengthened both my communication skills and ability to adapt to different learning styles.

With nearly 10 years of experience in one-to-one tuition, I am well-versed in the latest GCSE and A Level Maths specifications across exam boards including AQA, Edexcel, OCR, WJEC, IGCSE, CIE IGCSE & TMUA. *Teaching Approach* Understanding each student’s unique needs and capabilities is central to my teaching. I aim to make maths relatable by delving into the logic and structure behind the concepts, which not only aids in problem-solving but also builds confidence and independence. This way my students are not only taught how to answer questions, but why we answer the way we do. I believe this can be highly encouraging and help build confidence in the subject overall. Attended Staffordshire University between 2006 and 2001. During this time I achieved a BA Hons 2.1 in Business Studies and an MSc Pass in Marketing. During this time I helped International students understand subject material who found lectures too fast paced. It was during this time that I realised 1 to 1 tuition was something I could excel at.

BSc Psychology degree holder with over 2 years tutoring experience: During my time studying at university, I gained experience tutoring my peers in psychology - a passion I have been developing since and look forward to sharing with others, particularly at GCSE and A-level. - Content and understanding - Essay writing - Revision - Exam technique - Mark scheme interpretation Sessions are tailored to meet individual needs and requests - I make a plan for each student, making sure my sessions are accessible and enjoyable in a relaxed, friendly environment. I first studied psychology at secondary school and quickly developed an interest in understanding human behaviour, the mind and how it all fits together. I enjoyed it so much that I went on to study Psychology at university, gaining a much deeper understanding of different areas, from sports psychology to statistics to cognitive neuroscience. During my final year, I began tutoring other university students, developing communication skills and helping them manage their studies. Since graduating, I have focussed my tutoring primarily to A-level and GCSE level students, helping to break down complex concepts into more manageable ideas and develop confidence in longer-mark questions. Hi! I’m Lucy and I am a Policy and Legislation Lead within the UK Civil Service. I have been doing this for nearly 5 years, following having studied at the University of Bristol. I studied BSc Management. In my spare time, I love playing and listening to music and being outside! I have a Bachelor of Science in Management from the University of Bristol. This included subjects such as business studies, economics, marketing, consumer behaviour and behavioural change theory. Before this, I studied four A-level subjects: Economics, Mathematics, Physics and History. I am currently working as a Civil Service policy advisor.
