I’m Mane, a dedicated and enthusiastic tutor with over five years of tutoring experience, I specialize in helping students build strong foundations in English and Maths, from Year 1 through Year 11. I have a particular passion for preparing students for the 11+ exams and supporting them through their GCSE English and Maths (both Foundation and Higher levels). In addition to my academic tutoring, I have experience as a mental arithmetic teacher, helping students develop rapid calculation skills and strengthen their numerical confidence. As a multilingual tutor, I speak English, Russian, and Armenian, which allows me to connect with a diverse range of learners and tailor my teaching to their needs. I have successfully completed my Bachelor's degree in Labor Economics at the Armenian State University of Economics and subsequently acquired my Master's degree in International Management from Buckingham University. Additionally, I have achieved certification as a Mental Arithmetic Teacher.

I have been tutoring with GoStudent for over a year now, having formerly worked at museums, churches and summer camps. I enjoy working with children and am a former Sunday-School teacher and volunteer with several youth charities. I also have two years of classroom experience with Years 2 and 3, but am happy to work with children of any age, teaching English, Maths, History, Latin, and RE. Please note I do not take adult learners at this time. I am a graduate of the University of Cambridge with a first-class degree in History, also having taken papers in Classics and Theology. I won several prizes during my degree, including three prize scholarships and the Roy Porter Prize for History in my second year. I’m someone who’s deeply passionate about personal growth and helping others reach their full potential. I have a solid educational background, which has provided me with valuable insights and knowledge. Alongside my academic achievements, I’m also dedicated to fitness and regularly attend the gym to maintain both my physical and mental well-being. I believe that self-improvement extends beyond the gym – it’s about empowering others to enhance their lives, whether through motivation, guidance, or simply offering a supportive hand when needed. Hi, I'm Chris, a recent graduate in nuclear engineering with a love of maths and physics. I help students to build confidence and improve their core understanding of maths and physics, A-Level and GCSE. I focus on breaking down complex problems into smaller, more manageable steps which helps students understand the content along with worked examples and exam questions which helps students to solve questions in an exam and achieve their goals. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Lancaster University, specialising in nuclear engineering which involved a large amount of electrical engineering and particle physics. I also hold three A-Levels in maths, physics and chemistry from Thomas Rotherham College where I achieved an A*, A and B respectively. I also have GCSEs in maths (9), physics (9), chemistry (9), biology (9), computer science (9), geography (8), English language(8), English literature (7) from Winterhill School.
