Hi, I'm Shannon. I'm originally from Northern Ireland but I have lived in Scotland, France, Spain and now I reside in sunny Manchester. I have taught English, French and Spanish in Secondary Schools for the last few years. I believe that teaching cultural aspects alongside language is vital and I find that using music and TV are excellent ways to stay engaged with a language too. Let me know what you would like to work on or if you have any questions at all! I went to school in Northern Ireland where I got 6 A*s and 2 As. I then went on to study Spanish and French at the university of Stirling. After spending time teaching English in France and Spain, I did my PGCE training in Liverpool. I am also currently completing my TEFL certification at the moment. Other qualifications from my t...

Hi! I’m Tara Patel, a dedicated and passionate Math teacher I love making math engaging and meaningful by connecting lessons to real-life situations and using interactive activities that spark curiosity. My goal is to help you build confidence in problem-solving and truly enjoy working with numbers. I create a fun and supportive learning environment where you feel encouraged to explore, ask questions, and succeed. Outside of teaching, I enjoy solving puzzles, watching educational videos, and taking peaceful morning walks. I graduated with a Bachelor in Secondary Education, Major in Mathematics, and I am also a Juris Doctor. This academic background strengthened my skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and effective communication. Through my training, I’ve developed the ability to create engaging math lessons, use different teaching strategies, and support students with diverse learning styles. My background in law also sharpened my discipline, critical thinking, and attention to detail—qualities I bring into my teaching to help students become logical, confident, and motivated learners

Hello! My name is Daher Salameh and I'm a mechanical engineer. I have a master's degree in mechanical engineering and currently work as an R&D engineer. I always had a passion for teaching and valued education a lot, as it's our tool to build a better future for ourselves and keep moving forward as individuals and as a society. My area of expertise in teaching is mainly Math and Physics (but also taught other subjects), and I have more than 5 years of experience in this field. Moreover, I have gained extensive experience in the AQA, Edexcel, and OCR exam boards. Throughout the years, I have learned to deliver concepts to my students in ways they have never seen before — that I believe are interesting — which encourages them to learn. I always try to present the physical significance behind every concept, the intuition behind the formulas, and the relation of everything academic to its real life counterpart. I hope you'll learn from and enjoy my lessons because I certainly enjoy giving them! I have completed a BSc in mechanical engineering in 2022, then an MSc in applied mechanics and thermal sciences in 2025. I have done extensive work in the fields of dynamics, simulation, software development, and AI. Apart from working in those fields, I like working on cars, doing calisthenics, and solving puzzles like the Rubik's cube.

Hello and welcome to my profile! 😊 I'm Aishwarya, an English tutor with 10 years of tutoring experience and a background in Marketing and Consulting. So, it turns out that explaining marketing concepts and explaining grammar rules use the same muscle: taking something complicated and making it click. That's what I bring to every lesson. 𝐇𝐨𝐰 𝐈 𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐩 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐜𝐜𝐞𝐞𝐝 Most students don't struggle because they can't do the work. They struggle because exam questions are confusing and nobody's shown them a clear way in. I fix that with visual guides, step by step frameworks and loads of past paper practice, so by exam day it just feels familiar. 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐬 𝐈 𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 ① 11+ & SATs (English & Verbal Reasoning) — comprehension, SPAG, reading skills and verbal reasoning, plus practice papers and a bit of stretch to create a challenge once they're ready to tackle it. ② GCSE English Language (AQA & Edexcel) — paper recaps, past paper walkthroughs and the specific techniques that get students from a 5 to a 7, 8 or 9. ③ Primary English — 1 hour sessions on spelling, grammar, comprehension and vocabulary. Kept interactive so it doesn't feel like a chore with breaks in between. ④ Degree Level Proofreading & Marketing Mentoring — 1.5 hour sessions on marketing content, critical analysis, essay structure, grammar and citations. Getting firsts and 2:1s in assessments aren't difficult once you know what to develop your arguments on. 𝐌𝐲 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 No question is a silly question, ever. I mix things up with visual annotations, videos and games so lessons don't feel repetitive. Whether it's the 11+, chasing a grade 9, or getting a dissertation proofread properly, the goal is always the same: build confidence and get the result. 𝐎𝐧𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 I take this seriously. Enhanced DBS check, up to date, plus 3 safeguarding qualifications covering children, 16 to 25 year olds and online tutoring. I've taught learners from age 6 through to university. You'll always be learning somewhere that feels safe and pressure free.
