I’m currently studying sociology at the University of the West of England in Bristol to become a teacher of sociology in the future! I love music- especially dance music- as well as animals (definitely a dog person!) and nature. My free time is usually spent going out with friends, playing video games, and going on walks. I am currently studying at UWE Bristol. Prior to this I studied at KLB at A-Level and GCSE. I have A-Level qualifications in sociology, psychology, and English literature. Hi, I’m Maki Mary, an enthusiastic and patient math teacher who enjoys helping students understand math in a simple and practical way. I believe math becomes easier when students understand the concept instead of simply memorizing formulas. My goal is to make learning math engaging, supportive, and less intimidating, while helping students build their problem-solving skills and confidence. In my free time, I enjoy playing the guitar and singing, which helps me relax and stay creative throughout the day. I graduated with a degree in Electronics Engineering and am a licensed Electronics Engineer. My academic background gave me a strong foundation in mathematics, logical reasoning, and problem-solving, while my professional experience in Quality Assurance and Control further strengthened these skills. I also completed my TEFL certification and achieved a C2 Proficient level in the EF SET English test, which strengthened my communication skills and prepared me to support learners effectively.
