Hello everyone! My name is Scarlett and I love tutoring because I have been able to help lots of students feel confident and independent over their own learning and future. I teach biology and chemistry at both KS3 and KS4 level with no preference as to which. I love to go on long runs and go out with friends when I’m not studying to become a vet. I graduated from a highly selective grammar school achieving 10 grades 8-9 (A*) for GCSE and at IB, the equivalent to 4A* at A-level. I have been a tutor for over 2 years now helping students (most of which classify as SEN) through learning difficulties and anxiety to get into dream schools, achieving their highest potential.

Hi! My name is Lucy and I'm 22 years old from the North East. I am currently completing my Masters in Developmental Psychology and have a deep interest in education and teaching. My background in psychology has helped me to gain a deep understanding of how young people learn and how best to explain tricky concepts. In my free time I enjoy reading, pilates and spending time with my dog! I am expected to receive a Merit grade. Previous to this, I did my undergraduate degree in Psychology at Sheffield Hallam and achieved a 2:1 grade. Hi, I’m Cameron, I’m 20 years old and currently studying Aeronautical Engineering. My goal is to become an aircraft engineer for large scale commercial aviation in aircraft’s such as the 747. My hobbies include playing lots of rugby at home and for university, hiking to keep healthy, and cooking. I’m currently studying MEng Aeronautical Engineering at Durham University where I’m on track for a First-Class. I come from a mathematical background, taking Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry at A-level where I achieved AAB. I recently finished a 14 week internship at Rosa Engineering Ltd, where I travelled the UK across various power stations to help maintain and service areas to keep them operational. My favourite included fitting a new transformer into Langage Power Station in Plymouth. After completing the masters degree I aspire to become a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

I tutor with passion, purpose and a genuine commitment to helping every student reach their potential. My approach is flexible and completely student-centred, because I understand that every learner is different and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to education. I break down complex topics into simple, manageable steps and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and building confidence. My goal is not just to help students succeed in their lessons, but to give them the skills, understanding and confidence to become independent learners beyond the classroom. I’m invested in every student’s progress and tailor each lesson to what works best for them. I completed my GCSEs in the United Kingdom, where I built a strong academic foundation and developed essential study skills. I then progressed to A-levels, allowing me to deepen my understanding of key subjects and prepare for the demands of higher education. I am currently studying at university, where I am further advancing my knowledge and skill
