I attended Southend High School for Girls and completed my GCSEs there. For A levels,I moved to Southend High School for Boys. Currently i am a medical student at the University of Nottingham. Hello! I am a passionate English tutor with a degree in English Literature and Creative writing from the University of Warwick. I am also currently studying to become a full-time English teacher at secondary school level. My aim as a tutor is to make English feel approachable, engaging and enjoyable, while helping students to build the confidence they need to express their ideas and reach their full potential. I’m especially keen to support students whole might lack confidence in English or find the subject challenging. I studied English Literature and Creative Writing at the University of Warwick, where I enjoyed the wide range of texts and forms available, from Geoffrey Chaucer and Homer to modern texts dating well into the 21st century. My course covered poetry, novels, plays, films, graphic novels, and short stories across English and American literature. I also completed a film module in my final year, leaving me confident teaching Film Studies as its popularity grows in schools. Half of my degree focused on creative writing, where I particularly enjoyed screenwriting. Many seminars involved peer review, where I developed strong skills in giving constructive and sensitive feedback. I attended the Royal Grammar School, Newcastle where I completed my GCSEs and A levels.

I am currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, specialising in artificial intelligence, at the esteemed King's College London. With a strong academic foundation, I have discovered a true passion for teaching and find immense fulfilment in helping fellow students excel, particularly in subjects like Maths and Physics, which I thoroughly enjoy. I also have over 1000 hours of online tutoring experience and very high success rate. Throughout my educational journey, I have successfully completed A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Economics. Hi there, my name is Cameron Building confidence in Mathematics often starts with finding the right tutor . My goal is to provide a comfortable, patient & friendly atmosphere where real progress can be made. I understand the classroom isn't always the easiest place to learn, a teacher has to buzz around different students all the time - Sessions with myself are all about you! Maths isn't always as scary as it seems at first glance! Able to cover all areas within the national curriculum and A level. I'm happy to work with students of varying abilities and will tailor sessions around the needs of students. This can be trouble topics, cementing knowledge or work on exam prep. Following school I went straight to Lowestoft Sixth form college to study Mathematics, Physics & Economics for 2 years. It was during those years I began an appreciation for tutoring, as I myself learn better in smaller classrooms where more attention is on individual students. After A-Levels I went on to study Mathematics for 3 years at the University of East Anglianand graduating with 1st Class Honors. As seminars became a new type of session in the time table, I really began to learn the benefits of additional help on tricky areas of the course.
