My name is Syeda Ashfa Batool, I have very recently done my exams so i know the struggles of a hard working student. I want to use my experience and help other students excel in their exams using similar techniques that helped me. I also believe that everyones way of working is different so when we work together we will find what works best for you and help you do well in exams. Having delivered over 500 sessions I believed I have gained experience to work with a range of different students. Maths was one of my favourite subjects at school and even during college, so it is something I am looking forward to teaching most! My preferred age group is students doing their GCSEs or students in high school. Additionally, my age allows me to relate to students more easy and allows me to find ...

Hi! My name is Sadia, Iβm a dedicated and knowledgeable tutor with a strong academic background and a genuine passion for helping students succeed. I hold IGCSE qualifications in English Language, English Literature, and Maths, as well as GCSE Psychology. I have also achieved both Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning, giving me a solid understanding of how students learn and how to support them effectively. I am currently further developing my knowledge by studying a Science, Technology and Maths course with The Open University. Alongside tutoring, I work as an exam invigilator, which gives me valuable insight into exam conditions, expectations, and common challenges students face. This allows me to better prepare students not just for the content, but for the exam experience itself. I also have extensive experience working with students with Special Educational Needs, including autism and ADHD, across both primary and secondary education. I have successfully supported many students through their GCSEs, using a patient, adaptable, and understanding approach tailored to each individual. My tutoring style is structured, supportive, and personalised. I donβt just help with homework β I focus on building confidence, strengthening understanding, and developing long-term learning skills. I break down challenging topics into clear, manageable steps and adapt my teaching methods to suit each studentβs needs. With both academic knowledge and hands-on teaching experience, I understand not only what to teach, but how to teach it in a way that truly makes sense. I create a calm, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. My goal is to help every student feel more confident, capable, and fully prepared β whether for exams or ongoing success in their education. If youβre looking for a patient, experienced, and committed tutor who genuinely cares about progress and results, Iβd love to support your learning journey. My academic background reflects both strong subject knowledge and a clear commitment to education. I have achieved IGCSE qualifications in English Language, English Literature, and Mathematics, alongside GCSE Psychology. To further develop my understanding of how students learn, I have completed both Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Supporting Teaching and Learning. I am currently continuing my academic journey with The Open University, studying a Science, Technology and Maths course, allowing me to expand my knowledge across key subject areas while staying up to date with modern learning approaches. In addition, my role as an exam invigilator provides me with valuable insight into exam structures, expectations, and the skills students need to succeed under pressure.

Hi, Bonjour ! Je m'appelle ChloΓ© (my name is ChloΓ©) and I am a French native speaker :) As travelling and getting to know new cultures and languages is a real passion of mine, I am very excited to share my own; French culture and language. I myself had to learn a language that is not my native language (English) so I definitely know how challenging it is for my students to learn a new language. Therefore I can particularly help my students to overcome the fears they can have to learn a new language and truly put myself in their shoes. As it worked for me, I like to give lively interactive lessons using images or videos to optimise memory and focus. I also encourage my student to speak as much as possible, as I believe it is the best way to learn any language : 'PARLER, PARLER, PARLER'. I am the most experienced in giving lessons from Primary to GCSE level. I also have some experience in teaching A Levels and most particularly with adult learners and travellers. I have experience in private French and Art lessons with children aged 6 to 15. My interests include: travelling : I travelled and lived in over 11 countries and got to know very diverse cultures all over the world. Important : please note that I do not teach English anymore. Teaching Art : I have an Art and design BTEC and studied a BA at the university of the Arts of London (UAL) and currently studying at les beaux arts of Paris and have been a practicing artist ever since. I cam teach Art and Design GCSE students, particularly to give feedback on their portfolio. I am the most experienced in giving lessons from Primary to GCSE level. I also have some experience in teaching A Levels and most particularly with adult learners and travellers. I look forward to meet you, to work with you and helping with your studies! Merci beaucoup et a bientΓ΄t ! I've been living and studying in France most of my life until the age of 17 where I've moved to the UK to carry on my education in English. There I got the ESOL Entry 2 (NQF) and the IELTS ( grade 6.5) followed by the BTEC in Art & Design (equivalent to the bacalaureat) and then moved forward to a Fine art BA at UAL. Currently, I am in my third year of BA at Les beaux Arts of Paris ; where the French literary level is very high and sustained. In other words, I'll be very comfortable in both language to give you the clearest French lessons and to support you all along throughout the learning path you're taking!

Hi! I'm a friendly, supportive and enthusiastic tutor specialising in GCSE Biology and Chemistry, as well as A-level Biology. I achieved A*AA at A-level in these subjects and am currently studying Podiatry at Cardiff Metropolitan University. Alongside my studies, I have over two years of tutoring experience and also work as a teaching assistant, supporting both mainstream and SEN students across a wide range of ages and abilities. This experience has helped me develop a patient, adaptable teaching style that is tailored to each student's individual needs and learning preferences. My lessons focus on building confidence, developing a strong understanding of key concepts, and improving exam technique. I have created detailed PowerPoints, topic-specific Quizlet flashcards, and past paper question booklets for every topic, giving students access to high-quality resources both during and outside of lessons. We will work through topics together step by step before applying your knowledge using exam-style questions and mark schemes, helping you understand exactly what examiners are looking for. Every lesson is personalised around your goals, whether that's catching up on difficult topics, improving confidence, or achieving the highest grades. I adapt my teaching to suit the way you learn best, whether that's through diagrams, mind maps, videos, active recall, practice questions, or simply talking concepts through together. I also have extensive experience supporting students with additional learning needs and understand that every student learns differently. Between sessions, I'll set small personalised tasks to reinforce what we've covered, and you'll have full access to all of my revision resources, including Quizlet flashcards, topic notes, and past papers. I'm always happy to answer questions between lessons and provide extra support whenever it's needed. Whether you're aiming to pass your exams, boost your confidence, or achieve top grades, I'll provide the support, encouragement and structure to help you reach your full potential. I went to Wirral Grammar School for Girls, where I achieved grade 9s in all of my GCSEs. At A Level, I studied Biology, Chemistry, and Maths, and earned A*AA. Iβm currently studying Podiatry at university, a healthcare course that combines my love of science with practical, real-world applications. I enjoy how it brings together anatomy, problem-solving, and patient care in a meaningful way.
