I am an effective tutor. I’ve worked with SEN students including students with; dyscalculia, ADHD, dyslexia and autism. Whether you are looking to increase your grade by a little, or a lot I am here to get you to that full potential. I specialise in teaching GCSE maths and have led many students to get top grades. I work based on the students’ needs and I am very much able to adapt to their preferred learning style. I use exam questions from your exam board and continue to practice topics with you until you are fluent As I am a visual learner myself, I work with students particularly through diagrams, visual aids and in depth examples, drawn on interactive whiteboards as well as analogies to explain concepts required for their curriculum and more importantly, the final exam. Practice exam and past paper questions are key to unlocking the higher grades, and so I always integrate questions throughout the teaching of content during lesson to ensure the student understands and digests what they have learnt properly through application, you will never be short of exam practice in one of my lessons, as that is how the real exam will be like. There is always an open door policy to ask whatever questions you need to, whether that is in or out of lesson time, no question is too big or small. I achieved 5 grades 9’s and 5 grade 8’s at GCSE, this includes: - A 9 in Maths and Chemistry - An 8 in Biology and Physics. I'm a dedicated and patient tutor with a strong passion for helping students build confidence and achieve academic success. I have achieved high grades in both GCSEs and A-levels, and have worked with a range of students. Whether a student needs help preparing for exams, catching up in class, or wants to get ahead, I focus on creating a positive and supportive learning environment. My goal is to help students improve their grades while also inspiring curiosity and helping them form strategies for success. 100% of my students so far have seen an improvement of at least two grade, with many moving up many grades. I have completed both my GCSEs and A-Levels in the UK, achieving strong results across a range of academic subjects. At GCSE level, I studied core subjects including English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, and the Sciences, along with Citizenship, Geography, French and RE, which gave me a well-rounded academic foundation. For A-Levels, I chose to pursue Biology, English Literature and Politics, which not only deepened my subject knowledge but also developed my analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. I am studying law at university.

I am a BSc Biochemistry graduate from the University of Birmingham and an incoming first-year medical student at the University of Dundee. I offer tutoring specifically in GCSE Biology and GCSE Chemistry, using my strong academic background in both subjects to help students understand difficult concepts and improve their confidence. I aim to make complex scientific topics clear and manageable, while also focusing on exam technique, past-paper questions, and effective revision strategies. My lessons are patient, supportive, and tailored to each student’s individual needs, whether they are looking to strengthen their understanding, improve their grades, or prepare confidently for their exams. I have graduated from the University of Birmingham with a 2:1 BSc in Biochemistry and am now beginning my first year of Medicine at the University of Dundee. During my degree, I studied areas including molecular biology, cell biology, genetics, metabolism and organic chemistry. I also developed practical laboratory skills, scientific writing and experience analysing and presenting experimental data. My interest in tutoring began at secondary school, where I worked as a Science Tutor supporting GCSE students in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. I focused on identifying why students might not be achieving the grades they were aiming for, whether this was due to difficulty understanding certain concepts, gaps in their knowledge or challenges with exam technique. I could then tailor my support to address the specific issue. This experience taught me the importance of recognising different learning styles. For visual learners, I used diagrams and visual representations to make scientific processes easier to understand. For students who benefited more from verbal learning, I used simple language and broke complex concepts down step by step. I also created clear and digestible revision resources to make large topics feel more manageable and help students revise independently. At university, I volunteered in drop-in sessions supporting first-year Biochemistry students, particularly with writing laboratory reports and using RStudio for data presentation and analysis. Having already completed first year myself, I was able to draw on my own experiences and mistakes to help students avoid similar difficulties and develop more effective approaches to their work. Alongside my final year of Biochemistry, I completed the demanding medical school application process. This involved preparing my application and personal statement, studying for the UCAT and preparing extensively for Multiple Mini Interviews (MMIs). My interview preparation also required me to develop my understanding of current medical and NHS topics and practise communicating my ideas clearly under pressure. Balancing this preparation with my final-year degree commitments significantly strengthened my time-management, organisation and independent learning skills and ultimately led to me securing a place to study Medicine at the University of Dundee. I also volunteered as a Reading Partner at secondary school, supporting students with dyslexia with their reading and writing. This experience developed my patience and empathy and reinforced that every student progresses differently and may require a different approach. Together, my academic background, science mentoring and experience progressing into medical school have prepared me to provide personalised GCSE Biology and Chemistry tutoring, helping students strengthen their scientific knowledge, improve their exam technique and become more confident in their abilities.

Hi there! I'm Nihar, an LSE university graduate who is working in the Finance Sector. I provide tutoring services for GCSE students who are studying Mathematics, and A-Level students who are studying Economics with over 300 lessons of experience. I also love watching cricket, playing video games, and going to the gym. I completed my A Levels at London Academy of Excellence Stratford, where I studied Maths, Physics, Economics, and an EPQ. I then studied Economics and Management at the London School of Economics and Political Science, graduating in 2025. My degree combined economic analysis with intense mathematical rigour. My primary area of specialisation is Economics, with a particular interest in Microeconomics. I have explored the mathematical foundations of economics in depth such as game theory and market structures. I also completed a series of work experiences and internships in the Finance industry. Also, I began tutoring in my first year at university and have now accumulated over three years of tutoring experience, delivering more than 200 lessons to students across a range of abilities.
