I'm a Mathematics and Data Science graduate of the London School of Economics, and I now run a startup that uses machine learning in drug discovery, so I put the maths I teach to work every day. I studied Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Chemistry at A-level, earning an A* in Maths, and I'm a two-time gold medallist in the National Physics Olympiad. I tutor Maths, Physics and Computer Science from GCSE through A-level, and I also prepare students for university admissions tests and Oxbridge applications. Having recently sat these exams myself, I know exactly where students get stuck. My approach is patient and diagnostic: I find the gap, rebuild from there, and focus on real understanding and problem-solving rather than memorising. Most of all, I love helping students go from dreading a subject to feeling confident and capable in it. I attended St Paul's School, where I took A-levels in Mathematics (A*), Physics (A), Computer Science (A) and Chemistry (A), along with an A* EPQ in electrical and systems engineering. At GCSE I earned seven grade 9s, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science, and four grade 8s. I then studied for a BSc in Mathematics and Data Science at the London School of Economics (LSE), with coursework spanning machine learning, optimisation, real and complex analysis, probability and statistics, graph theory and algorithms. Alongside my degree I completed Harvard's CS50 and an MIT course in mathematics for finance. My specialisations are Maths, Physics and Computer Science at GCSE and A-level, and preparing students for university admissions tests (STEP, TMUA and ESAT) and Oxbridge applications. I'm also a two-time gold medallist in the National Physics Olympiad, which is exactly the kind of problem-solving these entrance exams reward.

I am a recent graduate of Biochemistry from the University of York where I got a 2:1. I have 3 A* A Levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I have experience of tutoring students doing GCSEs and A Levels and I strongly believe in the importance of understanding concepts completely so that they can be applied instead of rote memorisation. I have a strong passion for the sciences and maths and believe in their importance for understanding and moving through the world as well as becoming resilient to misinformation and misunderstanding. I attended St George's school where I got 10 GCSEs including 9s in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and English Language and an 8 in Maths. I then earned 3 A*s in Biology, Chemistry and Maths. I then attended the University of York studying Biochemistry where I attained a 2:1.

Hi, I’m Jade Flynn, a friendly and passionate Math and English teacher. I love helping students learn with confidence and enjoy. I make my lessons fun and easy to understand by using real-life examples, activities, and clear explanations. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and turning simple moments into learning opportunities. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education major in Mathematics, and I am also TEFL certified. My training helped me learn how to teach clearly, manage my class well, and adjust my lessons to different learning styles. I always aim to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable, and ready to succeed.

I believe that though hard work you can achieve anything you put your mind too! I am currently studying a Biomedical Engineering degree, but having only recently left secondary education I hope that I will be able to support and guide students towards their goals. I offer Biology, Physics and Maths. I studied my GCSEs and A-levels at my local secondary school, I received 4 As at A-level (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology). I have always enjoyed science and Maths hence why I decided to study Biomedical Engineering at the Univeristy of Sheffield.
