Hi! I’m currently studying a maths engineering degree at university and I can’t wait to use the skills I’ve learned to help students with maths and science. I understand what it’s like to struggle with a STEM subject, so I approach my tutoring from a place of patience and sympathy. When a student doesn’t understand a concept, I focus on finding out exactly what piece of the puzzle they are missing, and will re-explain the idea in a way that works for them, as everyone learns differently! For secondary school I attended South Hampstead High School and took my GCSE’s and A Levels there. For my GCSEs I received a nine in maths, English literature , all three sciences, geography and computer science, and an eight in French, art and English Language. For my A levels I received an A star in maths, further maths and physics, and an A in computer science. Currently I’m loving studying an Engineering Mathematics degree at the University of Bristol and I just completed my first year. I’m set to do an integrated masters there as well.

I'm a Mathematics and Data Science graduate of the London School of Economics, and I now run a startup that uses machine learning in drug discovery, so I put the maths I teach to work every day. I studied Maths, Physics, Computer Science and Chemistry at A-level, earning an A* in Maths, and I'm a two-time gold medallist in the National Physics Olympiad. I tutor Maths, Physics and Computer Science from GCSE through A-level, and I also prepare students for university admissions tests and Oxbridge applications. Having recently sat these exams myself, I know exactly where students get stuck. My approach is patient and diagnostic: I find the gap, rebuild from there, and focus on real understanding and problem-solving rather than memorising. Most of all, I love helping students go from dreading a subject to feeling confident and capable in it. I attended St Paul's School, where I took A-levels in Mathematics (A*), Physics (A), Computer Science (A) and Chemistry (A), along with an A* EPQ in electrical and systems engineering. At GCSE I earned seven grade 9s, including Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science, and four grade 8s. I then studied for a BSc in Mathematics and Data Science at the London School of Economics (LSE), with coursework spanning machine learning, optimisation, real and complex analysis, probability and statistics, graph theory and algorithms. Alongside my degree I completed Harvard's CS50 and an MIT course in mathematics for finance. My specialisations are Maths, Physics and Computer Science at GCSE and A-level, and preparing students for university admissions tests (STEP, TMUA and ESAT) and Oxbridge applications. I'm also a two-time gold medallist in the National Physics Olympiad, which is exactly the kind of problem-solving these entrance exams reward.

I am a first-year university student studying Computer Science, with a strong academic foundation in both mathematics and computing. I specialise in teaching Mathematics and Computer Science, and I have hands-on experience supporting and teaching students within a primary school setting, helping them build confidence and understanding. I successfully completed the 11 Plus examination in Year 6, which reflected my strong academic ability from an early age, particularly in English and Mathematics. I then went on to attend Bartley Green Secondary School, where I studied a wide range of subjects including English, Mathematics, Triple Science, Religious Education, Geography, French, and Computer Science. Studying such a broad curriculum helped me become well-rounded and develop important skills like problem-solving, critical thinking, and clear communication. After secondary school, I attended King Edward VI College, Stourbridge, where I studied A-Levels in Mathematics, Law, and Computer Science. These subjects allowed me to strengthen my logical thinking and analytical skills. Mathematics deepened my confidence in tackling complex problems, Law improved my ability to form structured arguments, and Computer Science further developed my technical knowledge and passion for computing. Overall, my educational journey has been consistent, focused, and driven by a genuine interest in analytical and technical subjects.

This diverse academic background enables me to design engaging, interactive lessons that cater to a wide range of learning styles. My preferred teaching methodology is the ESA (Engage, Study, Activate) approach. I begin by capturing learners’ interest through engaging content, followed by focused study of the target language and structured practice activities. Finally, students participate in free practice sessions, allowing them to apply the target language confidently in real-life contexts. I am a patient, supportive, and dedicated educator who strives to create a positive learning environment that fosters the emotional, intellectual, and social development of every student. Lower Level: Mathematics, Physics GCSE: Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Additional Mathematics A-Level: Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics Exam Board Experience: Cambridge O' and A' levels, SAT, IMAT Languages: English (mother tongue), Urdu Preferred Student Age Group: Any up to A' levels (included) About Me: I have over 5 years of tutoring experience which started in my O levels when my classmates asked me to teach them physics and mathematics. Over the course of my A levels, I started helping more and more students in either one-on-one settings or in groups of two or three, both, face to face and online. This is the point where I realized that I enjoy teaching; when students younger than me and, in some cases, even my own friends came up to me and told me how well their tests and exams went. I have taught many subjects throughout my tutoring experience: GCSE Mathematics, GCSE Additional Mathematics, GCSE Physics, GCSE Computer Science, A-level Mathematics, A-level Physics, A-level Computer Science and Mathematics and Physics for entrance tests such as for SAT, IMAT and the admission test to my university Politecnico di Torino. Simply put, I love teaching! I try to make tutoring experiences as interactive as possible especially with the use of technology. Apart from teaching, I enjoy reading, cooking and travelling the world! I completed my Bachelors in Computer Engineering and I am now pursuing my Masters Degree in Artificial Intelligence at Politecnico di Torino in Italy, a university that ranks in the top 40 for Engineering and Technology in the world. I have completed my GCE O' levels with 8 A*s and 2 As and my A' levels with 3 A*s and 1 A. During my O' Levels, I opted for Additional Mathematics and Statistics as additional subjects on top of the regular Mathematics course. The other main subjects in my O' Levels were physics, chemistry and computer science. In A' Levels, I studied Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science and Chemistry.
