Hello! I'm a passionate fourth-year medical student at a leading London university, driven by a genuine love for learning and teaching, especially in Maths, Chemistry and Biology. Having navigated the GCSE curriculum myself and achieving top grades, I understand exactly what it takes to succeed and the common hurdles students face. My experience both as a student and a tutor have instilled in me a deep empathy and commitment to providing a supportive, student-focused environment. I thrive on breaking down complex ideas into understandable steps, helping students build not just their academic skills but also their confidence. As a fourth-year medical student at King's College London, I bring a robust academic foundation, highlighted by achieving all A star grades in both GCSE's and A-levels. This recent success, coupled with my medical training's emphasis on analytical thinking, directly informs my tutoring approach. I have approximately 50 hours of dedicated GCSE tutoring experience, including guiding a Year 10 student to significantly exceed their predicted grades. This is complemented by skills that I have developed through three years of working in retail, where I honed exceptional communication, patience, and problem-solving skills, all vital for creating a supportive and effective learning environment.

Medicine reject at A-level who decided to pursue biomedical sciences instead to explore several career routes in science. Upon further exploration through experiences in healthcare, decided to give medicine one more chance as a postgraduate degree and recieved an offer from Oxford for medicine. Interests include music, gaming and travelling. Tutoring GCSE and A-level Maths and Sciences for over 4 years helping over 40 students achieve their dream grades with a mean result improvement of 2 grades. I also assist in UK medical school admissions tests, personal statement writing and interviews (Oxbridge included). My teaching style heavily revolves around putting methods to practise by attempting several exam questions during lesson time. After moving to the UK in 2015, I pursued my GCSEs which I completed in 2019, achieving five 9s, four 8s and two 7s with 9s in Maths and Sciences. I realised my passion for science and decided to pursue Biology, Chemistry and Maths for A-levels where I achieved 3A*s. After being rejected from medicine, I decided to complete a BSc in Biomedical Sciences at UCL, achieving a 1st Class Honours. During my degree I realised my passion lies in medicine and decided to try one more time by changing key parts of my application. Luckily, I received offers from Oxford and Warwick for Graduate-Entry Medicine.

Hello ! I'm Sadie, 19 and currently completing an undergraduate degree in International Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response in Manchester. I am passionate about learning and enjoy helping others build confidence in their academic abilities. I completed my secondary education in 2025, where I focused on Geography, Religious Studies and Chemistry, and have continued to develop my knowledge and passion for geography through my university course. I have experience supporting younger students with exam preparation, having taken part in a peer coaching scheme for 2 years whilst at school. Through this, I have learned the importance of patience, structure and encouragement in helping students succeed. It also taught me how best to adapt my teaching style to suit individual learning needs and aim to create a supportive learning environment. In my free time I enjoy reading, travelling and hiking, especially since moving to Manchester where I am now right on the doorstep of the beautiful peak district ! I look forward to helping students achieve their goals and gain confidence in their studies. In 2023, I completed 10 GCSEs at the Cotswold School, Bourton on the Water. These include English Language and Literature (both grade 6), mathematics (grade 8), Biology (grade 7), chemistry (grade 8), physics (grade 9) and geography (grade 9). I then continued my education with the Cotswold School Sixth Form, completing an AS level in Mathematics in 2024, and 3 A levels in Geography (A), Religious Studies (A) and Chemistry (B) in 2025. I am now in the Process of completing an undergraduate degree in MSC International Disaster Management and Humanitarian Response with the University of Manchester, with a predicted graduation in 2028.

I am an undergraduate Electrical and Electronic Engineering student at Imperial College London with over two years of tutoring experience. I specialise in Maths, Further Maths and Physics at GCSE and A-Level. I have worked for a professional tutoring company, tutored students privately and volunteered as a tutor in schools. My teaching style focuses on developing strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills rather than simply memorising methods. I encourage students to think through problems independently while breaking difficult concepts into manageable steps when needed. This allows me to identify misconceptions, strengthen their foundations and build their confidence. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to their individual ability, goals and learning style. I aim to create engaging lessons while supporting students with exam preparation, schoolwork, planning and their wider academic development. I am currently studying Electrical and Electronic Engineering as an undergraduate at Imperial College London, where my degree involves extensive use of mathematics, physics, problem-solving and analytical thinking. At A-Level, I achieved A* in Mathematics, A* in Physics, A in Further Mathematics, A in Economics and A in my Extended Project Qualification (EPQ). At GCSE, I achieved grade 9s in all but one of my subjects, with a grade 7 in the remaining subject. My academic background has given me a strong understanding of Mathematics and Physics, particularly at GCSE and A-Level standard. Studying engineering at university has also allowed me to develop these subjects further and see how mathematical and physical concepts are applied to complex real-world problems.
