Hello! My name is Shruti and I have always been fascinated by technology and how it shapes the world we live in. I have a strong passion for mathematics and science. I enjoy the challenges of solving complex problems and finding different solutions, which strengthen analytical thinking as well as problem-solving skills. I believe this is very important because it helps us to understand problems better and enables us to break them down into smaller, more manageable parts, which is also very crucial to learn. This also allows us to evaluate options logically instead of just guessing. Alongside this, I love listening to music. Listening to different genres helps me to relax and stay motivated; it also enhances my focus, concentration and memory. For me, music also works by blocking out distractions and creating a very steady rhythm for the brain to follow, which further increases my level of concentration. I also enjoy learning different languages because I believe this helps with connecting to different people from diverse backgrounds. Cognitively, learning a new language strengthens memory, problem-solving skills, as well as concentration. Altogether, these skills helped me to build confidence and independence. Therefore, I became better at explaining new ideas clearly and in an easily understandable way. I also became better at learning new things and finding solutions quickly to different problems. This is extremely essential in fields like engineering and tutoring! Throughout my academic years, I have attended Queen Mary's High School, and after that, I attended Queen Mary's Grammar School for sixth form. Currently, I am a first year Computer Engineering Student at the University of Birmingham.During my school years and university so far, I have completed assignments, projects which have helped me to develop my analytical thinking skills and experience explaining difficult concepts easily. Furthermore, I have also done mentoring before in school, where I was teaching maths to a GCSE student, and this also enabled my skills to improve and gave me more experience of teaching.

Hi, I’m Eva! I’m 19 years old and currently studying Business Management at the University of Nottingham, where I’m about to begin my second year. I’m passionate about learning, personal development, and helping others achieve their goals, which is why I’m excited to offer online tutoring. During my A-levels, I studied Business, Law, and Physical Education. These subjects gave me a strong understanding of how businesses operate, how the legal system supports organisations and individuals, and the importance of teamwork, discipline, and communication. Having recently completed these qualifications myself, I understand the challenges students can face and know how valuable clear explanations and supportive guidance can be. Alongside my studies, I play netball for the University of Nottingham. Netball has been a huge part of my life, and I love everything about the sport. It has taught me important skills such as teamwork, resilience, leadership, and time management, all of which I bring to my tutoring sessions. Balancing university studies with competitive sport has also helped me develop excellent organisation and commitment. Outside of university, I’m a proud Liverpool FC supporter and enjoy keeping up with football. I also love spending time with my friends, whether that’s exploring new places, socialising, or simply relaxing after a busy week. As a tutor, my aim is to create a positive, friendly, and encouraging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence. I believe everyone learns differently, so I tailor my approach to suit each individual’s needs and learning style. Whether you’re looking for help understanding difficult topics, preparing for exams, or improving your overall confidence in Business or Law, I’m committed to helping you reach your full potential. I know from my own experience how rewarding it is to have someone who explains things clearly and offers support when learning becomes challenging. I hope to be that person for my students, making lessons enjoyable, engaging, and productive while helping them achieve the best results they can. At school I achieved 3 A*’s in Business Studies, Law and Physical Education. In Buisness I studied core areas such as marketing, HR, strategic decision making and finance, and particularly enjoyed applying theory to real life scenarios. In Law I covered criminal law, contract law, public law, negligence and more. In PE I did netball as my practical sport and loved learning about the history of sport eg, the olympics. I also achieved 10 GCSE’s all ranging from grade 7-9

Lower level: Primary Maths, English and Science GCSE level: Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Maths, and English A-level: Biology Exam board experience: AQA, OCR, Edexcel, 11+ Language: English Preferred student age group: Primary, GCSEs and A-level About me: I’m currently studying Bioveterinary Science BSc (Hons) at the University of Chester, with the goal of one day becoming a Veterinary Surgeon. As you might have guessed, I’m passionate about animals—I have three dogs at home who I absolutely adore! One of my proudest achievements is earning my black belt in karate in 2020, a milestone I reached alongside some of my closest friends. It was a memorable and rewarding experience for all of us. I’ve also climbed the UK’s Three Peaks before turning 18, which was both physically and mentally challenging, but incredibly fulfilling. Having completed most of my A-levels through online learning during lockdown, I understand firsthand the challenges students face in remote education. This experience fuels my motivation to support students in reaching their full potential. I believe that building confidence and unlocking learning potential are key to lifelong success. I have worked with students facing a range of challenges, including anxiety, dyslexia, ADHD, and extreme shyness. I’m especially proud of the progress many of them have made—growing in confidence and communication, not just in school, but in their personal lives too. Seeing students thrive and express themselves freely is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do, and I’m committed to helping others take those same positive steps toward a brighter future. I have a range of GCSE qualifications, as well as A-Levels in Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I completed an EPQ (Extended Project Qualification) in Toxoplasmosis within sheep herds.
