Hi! I’m Muneeba, a final-year Software Engineering student at the University of Westminster and I love helping students feel confident in their learning. Alongside my studies, I’ve built lots of experience supporting learners: I currently teach at a tuition centre covering GCSE Maths, Science and Computer Science, plus A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Computer Science. I also teach all core subjects (Maths, English and Science) to primary students, and work as a Computer Science mentor at college, guiding students through revision and final projects. My background in tech means I’m great at breaking complex ideas down into clear, logical steps with plain relatable explanations. I adapt my style for every age: fun and engaging for younger learners, structured and focused for GCSE and A-Level. I’m patient, organised, and committed to helping you progress at your own pace. I can’t wait to work with you! 😊 I am currently a final-year Software Engineering BEng student at the University of Westminster. My educational foundation began at Connaught School for Girls, where I achieved strong GCSE grades including a 7 in Mathematics, 6 in Combined Science and Computer Science, and an 8 in English Literature. I then completed my A-Levels at Leyton Sixth Form College, studying Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science, all subjects I now teach with confidence. Since October 2024, alongside my degree, I have worked as a Tutor at MTC Tuition Centre. I teach GCSE Maths, Science and Computer Science, A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Physics, and Computer Science, and all core subjects to primary students. Since November 2024, I have also been a Computing & ICT Mentor at Leyton Sixth Form College, helping students with revision and practical projects. I took part in the Aim High Computing and Engineering Pathway, where I built skills in research, computational thinking, and presenting ideas clearly. Hi. I teach maths. My best skill is making making topics which feel very over complicated at first into much more understandable and simple concepts. My past experience is within working with at Harvard for a professor, competing in many mathematics competitions all around the UK and studying higher level institutional maths. Besides maths I love room interior design, Fruitiger aero aesthetic and 3d printing. I have currently just finished my studies. I am now looking to apply and pursue PPE (Politics, Philosophy and Economics) at Oxford University. I have previously studied Maths, Further Maths and Economics. My experience within maths would be my previous work at Harvard University, my many experiences at maths competitions all across London and as well as my personal studies of higher level institutional mathematics.

My name is Mark Sean A. Manubag, and I hold a degree in Chemistry. For the past two years, I’ve been teaching and tutoring high school and college students, mainly in math, chemistry, and physics. I love making complex topics feel simple and approachable for learners at different levels. As a teacher, I am patient, supportive, and goal-oriented. I believe in guiding students step by step until they feel confident in themselves. One of my strengths is breaking down difficult concepts into clear, relatable ideas. Seeing students progress—from struggling on quizzes to celebrating their own achievements—is what inspires me to teach. My teaching style is interactive and student-centered. I enjoy connecting lessons to real-life examples, whether through cooking, music, or everyday situations, so that learning feels both meaningful and fun. I’ve found that when students can relate to a topic, they learn faster and remember it longer. Outside the classroom, I enjoy reading, exploring different genres of music, and learning languages. At the moment, I’m studying Italian, which helps me stay in touch with the challenges of being a learner myself. That perspective allows me to connect more deeply with my students and encourage them to see learning as a lifelong skill. Teaching, for me, is about helping students discover their own potential. I want my learners to not only improve their grades but also develop the confidence and curiosity that will benefit them well beyond the classroom. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry. During my studies, I gained extensive training in laboratory instrumentation, including GCMS, FTIR, AAS, and UV-Vis, and completed internships with the Food and Drug Administration of the Philippines, the Department of Agriculture – Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, and the Philippine–Japan Active Carbon Corporation. My undergraduate thesis focused on the spectrophotometric determination of phenolics from plant extracts, which strengthened my background in analytical chemistry. After graduation, I successfully passed the Philippine Licensure Examination for Chemists in September 2014. Alongside my academic journey, I began working as a freelance tutor between 2012 and 2014, supporting high school and college students in mathematics, chemistry, and other sciences. Many of the students I taught came from institutions with advanced science and math programs, while others needed help building foundational understanding. Through one-on-one lessons, I developed a teaching approach that emphasized patience, step-by-step guidance, and real-life applications, helping students not only grasp concepts but also build confidence in their own abilities. This tutoring experience deepened my passion for education and showed me the impact of making complex topics simple and engaging. I take pride in seeing students’ progress—from struggling on exams to achieving strong results. Teaching continues to be a meaningful part of my career, complementing my professional work as a chemist by allowing me to share knowledge and inspire curiosity in the sciences.

I’m a 4th-year medical student studying abroad, with a strong academic background in A-Level Maths, Chemistry and Biology, achieving A grades in all three subjects. I offer tutoring in GCSE and A-Level Maths, Biology and Chemistry, and I’m passionate about helping students build both their confidence and understanding of the subjects. I first gained teaching experience through mentoring students during high school, particularly in GCSE Maths and Biology. Since then, I’ve worked with a number of students over the past few years, helping them work towards their academic goals and make significant progress. Seeing students become more confident and independent in their learning is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring for me. I believe that every student learns differently, so I don’t use a one-size-fits-all approach. I take the time to understand what a student is struggling with, how they learn best, and what they want to achieve, and then adapt my lessons accordingly. I also make sure to prepare thoroughly before each lesson, so that our time together is focused and productive. Whether you need help understanding difficult topics, practising exam questions, improving your exam technique, or simply building confidence, I aim to make lessons clear, engaging and tailored to you. As someone who has been through GCSEs and A-Levels myself, I understand how overwhelming exams can feel. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades, but also to help them feel more confident, prepared and in control of their learning. If you're looking for a tutor who is patient, organised and genuinely invested in your progress, I’d be happy to help! I achieved A grades in A-Level Maths, Biology and Chemistry, as well as a 9 in GCSE Maths and Further Maths, an 8 in GCSE Chemistry, and a 7 in GCSE Biology. Now that I am studying Medicine at university, I have continued to develop my knowledge and understanding of Biology and Chemistry, while also maintaining a strong foundation in Maths. I therefore feel confident in my ability to explain concepts clearly and help students tackle challenging topics. However, I also believe that being a good tutor means being honest and willing to learn. If there is ever a topic or question that I am unsure about, I will take the time to research and understand it properly before explaining it to my student. This ensures that I can provide accurate, well-prepared and clear explanations rather than simply giving an answer.
